National Hygiene Week 2025 is a dedicated initiative aimed at promoting good hygiene practices and raising awareness about the importance of personal and public hygiene.
In the UK, National Hygiene Week was founded in 2018 by The Hygiene Bank. In the Republic of Ireland, it was established in 2019 by The Hygiene Hub, previously known as The Hygiene Bank Ireland. Both organisations aimed to make “keeping clean” not a luxury or a privilege for anyone in society, but a basic reality for everybody.
