World Breastfeeding Awareness Week in 2025 will be from August 1–7. The week is a global campaign that raises awareness about the benefits of breastfeeding.
What's the goal? To highlight the health benefits of breastfeeding for babies, To promote maternal health, To encourage breastfeeding practices, and To improve the health of babies worldwide.
Who organises it?
- The World Alliance for Breastfeeding Action (WABA) organises World Breastfeeding Week
- WABA works with the World Health Organization (WHO) and UNICEF to promote breastfeeding
