Our Verification Process

For Includability Committed Employers, the verification process is a comprehensive assessment of a business’s commitment to D&I, Sustainability, Wellbeing, Mental Health, Talent Management, and Leadership & Governance. It begins with a 65-question Company Commitment Survey (CCS), establishing a benchmark of current practices. This is followed by six independent 30-minute verification calls with expert partners, assessing key areas such as policies, workplace inclusion, talent attraction, and mental health support.

The process provides businesses with expert insights, actionable recommendations, and official recognition as an Includability Committed Employer.

The Includability Verification Report

Upon completing the verification process, businesses receive a detailed Verification Report outlining their strengths, areas for improvement, and tailored recommendations across D&I, Sustainability, Wellbeing, Mental Health, Talent Management, and Leadership & Governance. This includes an HR roadmap with practical next steps to enhance workplace culture and employer branding.

To support ongoing development, businesses gain exclusive access to discounted training and workshops through the Includability Marketplace, alongside community benefits, expert insights, and networking opportunities. This ensures they have the tools and resources to continue their journey towards a more inclusive, sustainable, and successful business.

"We are over the moon to be the first recruitment agency to pass Includability’s 6 Star verification process! We have always been committed to equity, diversity, and inclusion, both as an employer but also as leaders in improving representation within insights and removing barriers to disadvantaged or under-represented talent. We want ENI to be a great place to work, but also work with and guide clients on best practice around inclusive hiring – always striving to influence positive change and enabling everyone to succeed in Insight. Working with Includability highlighted the areas we have been doing well, and those areas where the partnership can give us that additional layer of support and guidance needed to champion equality, diversity and create inclusivity within insights - and we’re so excited about the journey ahead."
Letitia Oglesby, Marketing Manager at Elizabeth Norman International
"We are super proud to have gone through Includability’s 5 star verification process, we have always been committed to promoting and enabling a positive culture where everyone can be themselves. If we want to leave behind a better world for future generations then we will need ideas and behaviours which channel multiple perspectives and diversity of thought. So, we are committed to doing the work to create Ella’s a more diverse and dynamic workplace. We know that this is easier said than done! We believe that we all have a role to play in championing equality, diversity and helping to create an inclusive culture. As a B Corp, we want to help build a better world and make Ella’s Kitchen a truly great place to work and being an official partner with Includability certainly will help us in this journey."
Kim Deverall, Helps Make People Happy (HR + Talent Coordinator) at Ella’s Kitchen
“We are thrilled about the opportunity to collaborate with Includability because of their unwavering commitment to fostering diversity, equity, and inclusion in the workplace. We believe that by joining forces with Includability, we can effect meaningful change and pave the way for a more inclusive society where everyone has the opportunity to thrive and we are eager to contribute our skills, learnings and look forward to seeing the positive impact we can make together.”
Louisa Hogarty, HR Director at Noble Foods
“PAPYRUS is proud to have achieved the Includability Committed Employer Status – a certified status for inclusive and committed employers. We join a community of organisations dedicated to putting people and the planet first. We are delighted to have been recognised for our strengths in diversity and inclusion; sustainability; talent management; leadership and governance; mental health, and wellbeing. We now look ahead to collaborating with our colleagues across the charity and within the Includability network to build on these areas going forwards.”
Louise Kerrigan, Head of People and Culture, PAPYRUS Prevention of Young Suicide
"Includability has a way of engaging with its members and it has a way of portraying a message. It's quite difficult sometimes to get out there into the public and instead of going right, we want to control everything Includability takes a completely different stance and it's refreshing to see. Insisting the need that the 5-Star Verification process is done independently by the people who know about these things adds to the credit of it and for me, that was really important. We've gone through that process and we're really lucky to be a 5-Star Verified Includability member, which is an honour as well. That was a massive attraction; it's not about just talking the talk; it's about walking the walk"
Dominic Offer, Director of Client Engagement and Sustainability at Bristol Global Mobility
“We're really chuffed to have passed the assessment to become an Includability verified employer. The 5 pillars are central to the success of our people and to our community here at Best.Energy. Sustainability, talent development, wellbeing & mental health and fostering an inclusive workplace are incredibly important to us and are things we're working hard on improving all the time. We're not perfect, but we are working towards always being better and providing our most important asset - our people - the best environment we can to thrive and be happy.”
Elle Chappell, People & Culture Partner at Best.Energy
“Holland & Barrett are thrilled to be recognised as a committed employer in inclusivity by the Includability team and their verification partners. Being an EPIC place to work is a core part of our values and we pride ourselves with iterating our offering by putting our colleagues at the heart of all that we do. Working with Includability has been a fantastic experience and would recommend other companies to do the same.”
Melissa Sterling (She/Her), Wellness and Belonging Manager at H&B
Liverpool are pleased to announce that they have become an Includability Committed Employer and achieved six stars in their verification process in the areas of D&I, Sustainability, Mental Health, Wellbeing, Leadership and Governance and Inclusive Recruitment
