Member Details
Daniel Wilsher is a 26-year-old award-winning mental health public speaker and founder of The Damaged Goods Co. After losing a parent to suicide, he was faced with his own battle against depression, anxiety, and suicidal ideation; a battle that would last for 4 long years. From losing family to losing friends, from an alcoholic father to a workaholic mother, from failing university to failed businesses, from years of alcohol and substance abuse to nearly a years’ worth of therapy and medication. Daniel now uses his story and lived experience to give people the skills, tools, knowledge, and courage to cope with life’s ebbs and flows a little better than he did.
The Damaged Goods Co works to support organisations through a range of services from Public Speaking, Management Training, 1-to-1 Support, Consultancy and Mental Health First Aider Impact Sessions. These services have been designed to eradicate stigma within your workforce, nurturing an environment safe for conversation around mental health while enabling your people to thrive in and outside of the office.
‘We all have areas of our lives that are damaged, that’s what makes us human. It’s how we deal with those areas that truly makes us great.’
