Who we are
Thirteen years ago the name Tyler Grange didn’t mean anything. And that was okay. We wanted to create a business that made a name for itself. Over a decade on and we’ve achieved a lot. Now the name does mean something.
Your challenges are our motivation.
Today, “Tyler Grange” stands for a highly respected and motivated team, or ‘TG Tribe’, as we like to call it. Collaboration is key, whether that be working to achieve a careful balance between nature and development or giving back to the community. Ultimately, we strive to deliver a truly different service.
Experience expert consultancy in landscape planning, ecology and arboriculture that’s anything but ordinary. So you can realise your project goals and provide urban and rural landscapes that people and nature love in equal measure.
What we do

Whatever the sector and scale of your project, our mission is to get you the result you desire. We enjoy a challenge and use the expertise of our team, as well as a wide network of other professionals. We don’t want to bombard you with technical jargon, we just want to create a great working relationship and build trust to address all of your ecological, landscape and arboricultural requirements.

Arboriculture
Trees can be an opportunity and a constraint, but our experienced team can give you the advice needed to maximise tree retention whilst also enabling development. So, whether you need a tree survey, specialist advice on sensitive construction methods or the critique of a Tree Preservation Order, just get in touch.

Ecology
Ecology is complex, but understanding the surveys required, seasonal timescales and the regional approach to delivering biodiversity gain is something our professional team is here to take care of. Just contact us to understand how we can best navigate your project through the planning process.

- A 3-day weekend, every week
- We understand that 3-days of downtime is better than 2 which is why we only work a 4-day week. This means our employees are free to do what they want on a Friday – whether that’s helping out in the community (see our Farms for City Children here) or just another day to catch up on life admin.
- Access to mental health professionals, support and counselling

- Contributory pension, matched up to 4%
